Easy To Hit Irons
Designed to be easy to hit and well-balanced, the RX-2 irons are a great choice for players looking to improve their game. Designed with perimeter weighting and a modest offset, these irons set up effortlessly. The chamfered topline and slimmer profile create clean lines and confidence at address. A slight offset makes this iron ideal for players seeking straighter shots who also desire a classic look.
Maximum Contact Time for Better Shots
Hit better shots, effortlessly. All too often, irons are created with a minimized sweet spot. Shots made outside the center of gravity position can reduce the amount of energy actually transferred to the ball. This can make your shot feel “heavy”, punishing you with harsh feedback. A high energy shot feels light yet powerful. With the RX-2, maximum energy is transferred by progressively placing the center of gravity optimally to ensure maximum contact time with the ball.
Beveled Leading Edge
The RX-2 sole features a beveled leading edge to help smooth out your swing and even increase your swing speed. Experience reduced turf drag when swinging through the rough. A smoother swing means more stability and control to place the ball exactly where you want it.
CNC-Milled Accuracy
While the RX-2 irons are easy to hit by design, all Alpha irons are crafted to be the most accurate ever played. Manufactured to exacting standards, both the grooves and entire face are CNC-milled. This not only prevents the need for painting (which many club manufactures use to hide defects), it makes the face of the RX-2 irons extremely accurate and consistent every time you take a shot. Higher accuracy means more shot precision and lower scores.
And unlike most brand name clubs, all Alpha irons are coated with “sapphire strength” nickel-chrome plating to enhance the look and protect the quality of your iron for years to come.
Matching Irons and Wedges
The easy to hit and set up RX-2 irons are one of our few iron sets that can be matched with its own Pitching, Gap, Sand, and Lob wedges. Take the guess out of which high iron or wedge club to use. Playing with a full Iron-Wedge matching set can help enhance your consistency and ensure maximum coverage in club performance and usage.
