To transfer the energy to the ball at impact without loss is the key for increasing initial velocity of the ball. Maruman Golf started research in collaboration with Kyushu University in 1989 to develop clubheads that transfer energy to the ball more efficiently. This has been accomplished by using Computer Aided Design. We are able to test different designs, shafts and head shapes on the computer until the best combination of the three elements for distance and control Maruman Golf met.
